Founded in 1994, PetOdorRemoval.net began as a home research project to eradicate the pet urine odors in the carpet and floor caused by one of our several cats. It involved a method whereby pet urine odors could be removed and eliminated without enzymes, shampoos, chemicals, solvents, powders or sprays. The results of this discovery were astonishing.
The next step in the process was to thoroughly test the new discovery on other types of surfaces and areas that are targets for inappropriate urination or "pet accidents." These included carpets, sofas, chairs, floors (wood, ceramic and linoleum), tile grout, mattresses, bedspreads, bedsheets, pillowcases, concrete, clothing, draperies, tablecloths, shoes, walls and baseboards. Outdoor surfaces and areas included concrete, brick, dirt, grass, decks and patios.
Extensive and rigorous testing was performed on each of the above items, albeit with the same astonishing results. After all of the testing was concluded, it was evident there was absolutely no doubt this discovery would revolutionize the way pet urine odors are removed. However, I didn't disclose the formula and recipe to anyone as it was used solely and exclusively in our home, for which it undoubtedly saved us thousands of dollars which we would have spent replacing the carpet and floors.
Further research uncovered a statistical fact that pet urine odors are the number one reason why pet owners abandon or get rid of their pets. This provided me with the belief that I could help thousands of other pet owners who succumbed to the same frustrations of spending endless amounts of money on products that didn't work or just masked the odor temporarily.
As the internet began to emerge, a little known website in its infancy stage was beginning to attract huge numbers of computer users who could log on and connect to what has now become the world's largest flea market and garage sale - eBay. This is where I launched my first efforts to sell my pet urine odor remover formula in 1999. The response to it was overwhelming. PetOdorRemoval.net was a pioneer in selling a pet urine odor remover on eBay. Today, over a hundred odor remover products are listed daily.
A short time later I ventured into and started my first internet website. Significant improvements in software programming for website building and hosting has enabled me to strategically place and rank this website near the top of Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask, AOL and other internet search engines. This has allowed me to reach customers all over the world. My pet urine odor remover recipe has been sold in all 50 states and in 17 different countries around the world.
Although most my customers are pet owners, it is used and approved by veterinarians, cat shelters, foster care pet programs, dog kennels, pet adoption centers, realtor associations, apartment renters & owners, condo associations, universities, assisted living & nursing homes and professional carpet cleaners.
